Update on the coronavirus situation in Brittany on August 2, 2022
Updated on 02/08/2022
Throughout the region, the circulation of the covid-19 virus continues to decline. Hospital activity still remains high even though new admissions for COVID reasons are also decreasing.
In this context, the vaccination effort must therefore be maintained to improve vaccination coverage, particularly that of booster doses in capable people. Since July 20, 2022, eligibility requirements for the second booster dose have been extended :
– adults aged 18 to 60 identified as being at risk of a severe form of Covid-19;
– pregnant women, from the 1st trimester of pregnancy;
– to living people in the entourage or in regular contact with vulnerable or immunocompromised people.
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
At the same time, it is essential to keep the right reflexes:
– focus on outdoor activities
– ventilate the premises regularly
– wear the mask in closed places with a high concentration of the population and in transport
– test themselves at the slightest symptom and in the event of a positive result, notify their relatives and respect their isolation
