Aston Villa formalizes the arrival of Unai Emery
It’s official, Unai Emery is back in the Premier League. The Spanish coach signed up with Aston Villa, who paid his release clause (6 million euros) to snatch him from Villarreal, where he was under contract until the end of the season. The former PSG and Arsenal coach will try to revive the Birmingham club by taking over from Steven Gerrard, who was sacked at the end of last week. He will begin his mission on November 1.
