Scotland take control of their group at the expense of Ukraine

Three months after Scotland’s defeat in the semi-finals of the qualifying play-offs for the World Cup against Ukraine (1-3), the “Tartan Army” took its revenge on Wednesday on its lawn during a match of the 4th day of the League of Nations, shifted precisely because of their last confrontation.

The decision was made twenty minutes from time when captain John McGinn opened the scoring (70th) before Queens Park Rangers center forward Lyndon Dykes scored twice (80th, 87th) off the bench to seal the fate of the encounter. Thanks to this victory, the Scots take the lead in Group 2 of the League B of Nations at the expense of their evening opponents.
