Parisian supporters responsible for an attack after Ajaccio-PSG?

A 19-year-old Ajaccien filed a complaint for violence and degradation after being attacked overnight from Friday to Saturday in Ajaccio by a group of supposed ultra PSG supporters, the prosecution confirmed to AFP.

Confirming information from France Bleu RCFM, the Ajaccio prosecutor’s office specified that a brawl would have broken out in the city center between “ultra individuals from PSG who would have attacked a young Corsican whom they would have assaulted and whose car they would have damaged”. The young Ajaccien was accompanied by several friends, according to the story reported by the local branch of Radio France.

The facts would have taken place a few hours after the Ligue 1 meeting between AC Ajaccio and PSG on Friday evening, won (3-0) by the Parisians. Testifying on the airwaves of RCFM, the victim indicated that he had suffered numerous blows, including blows “iron bar”. He said he was not an AC Ajaccio supporter and did not even follow the match.

An investigation has been opened, the prosecution confirmed, without giving further details.
