Penny Lancaster was among the police at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II
Penny Lancaster passed the examinations to enter the London police reserve, and the former model is part of the police force used to ensure the smooth running of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, as can be seen on pictures images released by ITV.
“It is the greatest honor of all, to be able to serve today for Her Majesty’s funeral,” she explained according to the publication. “You can never quite predict how the crowd will react and the dangers that could lie in wait. But we had great training and great preparation and luckily everyone paid their respects in the proper way and we had no incidents to speak of. So [je suis] very grateful for that,” she adds.
