Over 1,800 Liverpool fans to file complaints against UEFA over incidents in Champions League final

After the incidents at the Stade de France which led to the kick-off of the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid on May 28, more than 1,800 Reds supporters want to file a complaint against UEFA. Some had indeed been the target of aggression by the police, and all of them had not been able to access the stadium in the end.

They want to sue UEFA for “breach of contract” in the context of ticket sales and “precaution” in the obligation of security to spectators. The Liverpool club had already collected 8,500 testimonies from supporters present at the stadium as part of an independent investigation decided by UEFA.
