More in the plans of AS Roma, which will recover Georginio Wijnaldum, the French midfielder Jordan Veretout is getting closer to OM.
In search of a central midfielder since the departure of Boubacar Kamara at Aston Villa, OM are reaching for the goal. According to L’Equipe, the Marseille club has reached a salary agreement with Jordan Veretout, the 29-year-old French international midfielder, who is no longer in José Mourinho’s plans at AS Roma.
According to the sports daily, OM are also in the process of reaching an agreement with La Louve for a transfer of around €10m. A departure that will allow the Roman club to complete the signing of Parisian midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum in the form of a loan with an option to buy.
Citing Olympian sources, L’Equipe adds that Veretout could land in Marseille this weekend and commit to OM for probably three years.
