Monesties. The great medieval festival is back

After a two-year hiatus due to Covid 19, the great medieval festival returns with a hearty program prepared by the association La Médiévale de Monestiés, led by Les Compagnons du Chêne-Ardent and Les Délices de l’Histoire.

Saturday August 6: Craft market and local products, medieval village, jousting on foot, medieval garden, treasure hunt, walks for children…, medieval banquet (reservation on 06 25 87 00 55), evening show with the company Les Vagabondes, torchlight procession.

Sunday August 7: Garage sales and flea markets on the lists of Candèze from 7 a.m. (organized by the Monestiés festival committee (1); reservation on 06 78 74 01 56 or 05 63 76 15 89; €15 for 5 m). Opening at 10 a.m. of La Médiévale de Monestiés. On both days, fried food at 12 p.m., pancakes and a refreshment bar. The entertainment is free.

La Médiévale de Monestiès was created by default for the organization of the event. His office: Franck Schneide, president; Arnaud Gluchowski, secretary, and Frédérique Zamolo, treasurer.
