Merchants from Livarot (Calvados) organized a collection for the benefit of the Refuge animal augeron in Hermival-les-Vaux near Lisieux (Calvados) which took care of several abused dogs.

“I was very touched by the affair of the 26 very thin dogs discovered in mid-August at a private home in Orbec,” explained Sandrine Gauclin, shopkeeper at the Maison de la presse de Livarot.

“As some of the dogs were placed at the request of the public prosecutor at the Refuge animal augeron, in Lisieux (Calvados), and there was a lot of care to be taken with them, with Jennifer, my saleswoman, we decided to organize a raffle in favor of the shelter. We have already sent a first check for €500, but we have returned a total of €700. »

Eleven lots were donated by Livarot merchants.

The draw for this raffle took place on Monday, September 12, 2022 and the prizes can be collected at the Maison de la presse, rue Marcel-Gambier.
