Kittens beaten up and used as soccer balls by “young people” in Torcy (71)

Several acts of ill will have been perpetrated against animals in Torcy. Last month, several cats were beaten up by a group of young people. The association Les Chats du Pilon plans to file a complaint.

The facts would occur on Monday June 27 and Wednesday June 29, between 7 and 8 p.m., in the Résidence du Vilet district in Torcy. Few residents speak out and those who do remain anonymous for “fear of reprisals”. Revolted, they are a scene of “incredible cruelty and violence”.

According to one of them, “a group of kids, who live in the neighborhood, caught a kitten to play football. I never expected to see this one day. The youngsters would be between 8 and 17 years old. “I couldn’t intervene because they were violent…” They were “a dozen”, according to most of the witnesses.

Editor’s note: A previous version of the article incorrectly indicated Torcy (77). It is in fact Torcy (71).
