IN IMAGES – Spiders, ants… Discover the incredible photographs of the infinitely small

Have you ever seen an ant’s head under a microscope? On the occasion of the 48th edition of the “photomicrography competition” carried out by Nikon Small World, 92 shots of the infinitely small were revealed by the manufacturer, which presents itself as “the main forum for the beauty and complexity of life seen through an optical microscope”. Among them, small animals photographed using a microscope.

The online exhibition thus devotes photographs of insects that we observe on a daily basis, such as spiders, ants or midges, but also mouse embryos, in sublime images like you have never seen. Check them out below.
