In Cahors, a moving end-of-year party for the Zacharie-Lafage school

Zacharie Lafage kindergarten had a very special end-of-year party on Tuesday, June 21. First because it was his return after the constraints linked to Covid-19, then because it was an opportunity to pay tribute to Josette Garcia. A surprise that his colleagues, trained by director Cécile Pabois, had been concocting for several weeks.

Emblematic Atsem of Zacherie Lafage, Josette retires on June 28 after “forty years of town hall” half of which spent in this school. Suffice to say that she cajoled and accompanied generations of children, particularly in the small section. She even found some of them as parents of students. Josette received a huge bouquet given to her, flower to flower, by the little schoolchildren, words, gifts from children and a gift from adults.

Before that, the kindergartens made up and disguised had offered a show of dances and songs in the gymnasium of Zacharie-Lafage. A snack ended this joyful evening.
