The number of emergency visits for suspected Covid-19 was stable compared to week 2022-20: 43 against 46).
The number of new admissions for COVID, in all-service hospitalization
confusing also decreased with 18 admissions during this week against 36 the previous week.
The number of patients in intensive care was stable with 4 admissions against 6.
The capacities of intensive care units are maintained at 43 active intensive care beds (38 at CHUG, 5 at CHBT).
On the evening of this Wednesday, May 31:
– 32 COVID patients are hospitalized in conventional medicine
– 36 patients are hospitalized in intensive care: 7 are in COVID sheaves (6 at the CHU, 1 at the CHBT)
– 29 are hospitalized in non-COVID sheaves, i.e. 1 at the CHBT and 28 at the CHU.
– 79 are on home oxygen (stable)

1 man in his fifties died in the CHUG intensive care unit
1 cluster was declared in a crèche during the week in question. This brings to 6 the number of clusters monitored today in Guadeloupe (1 under investigation and 5 under control).
