Coronavirus in Brittany: health situation update for Tuesday, September 13

COVID-19 – Coronavirus in Brittany
Health situation update of September 13, 2022

Registered Brittany 14,815 new positive cases since August 30.
The incidence rate now amounts to 213.1 cases per 100 000 inhabitants (+ 36.9 points) at the regional level with a positivity rate for RT-PCR and antigen tests of 23.8%.

The incidence rate has been increasing for several consecutive days. This trend is a little more marked in Ille-et-Vilaine.

For the time being, this resumption of epidemic activity is not reflected in the hospital where activity for Covid-19 reasons is declining further.

These elements testify to the circulation of the virus. The vaccination effort must therefore be maintained, in particular with the second booster dose in qualified persons:

– People over the age of 60;

– adults aged 18 to 60, identified as being at risk of a severe form of Covid-19;

– pregnant women, from the 1stuh trimester of pregnancy;

– living people in the entourage or in regular contact with vulnerable or immunocompromised people.

Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

As soon as the situation requires it, it is important to apply the appropriate protective measures.
