It was only a matter of days and it was this Wednesday that Christophe Pelissier, 57, former coach of Amiens and Lorient, once again put on his tracksuit to become the new coach of AJ Auxerre. He signed up for two seasons plus another optional one. Pelissier will be presented to the press on Friday.
He will be accompanied by Jean-Marie Stephanopoli (assistant) and Olivier Lagarde (goalkeeping coach). According to Republican YonneMichel Padovani, Emmanuel Pascal, Attila Farkas and Robert Duverne, former members of Jean-Marc Furlan’s staff, were received on Tuesday to offer them internal reclassifications.
No conciliation between AJA and Furlan
On the other hand, and without great surprise, there was no conciliation between AJA and its former coach, Jean-Marc Furlan, on Tuesday before the LFP’s legal committee. The Burgundy club will therefore enter into a dismissal procedure for serious misconduct. It is very likely that Furlan challenges his dismissal before the industrial tribunal.
