Marin Cilic is the best advanced to reach the Roland-Garros final. The Croatian, seeded No. 20 and who beat Andrey Rublev in the previous round, made the hole in the first set against Casper Ruud (6-3), Friday June 3 in the semi-finals. The winner of this meeting will meet Rafael Nadal in the final on Sunday.

The Spaniard qualified after Alexander Zverev retired with an ankle injury. After more than three hours of intense combat, he left the court in tears before the end of the second set. Nadal, also victorious in the first set (7-6 [10-8]) therefore qualified for his fourteenth Roland-Garros final.

In the junior tournament, the young Gabriel Debru, 16, qualified for the final. He beat the Croatian Dino Prizmic (6-1, 0-6, 6-3). In doubles, Kristina Mladenovic and Caroline Garcia also reached the final, at the expense of the American pair Coco Gauff-Jessica Pegula (2-6, 6-4, 6-2).

Earlier in the day, at 11 a.m., the double Paralympic champions Nicolas Peifer and Stéphane Houdet were eliminated in the semi-finals of the wheelchair tennis tournament by the duo Gustavo Fernandez-Shingo Kunieda. Follow the day live.
