A TV show for the 7th round of the Coupe de France

Faced with the emergency, the FFF has organized a broadcast plan for the 7th round of the Coupe de France which is being held this weekend with the entry into the running of the Ligue 2 clubs. the National Cup has been awaiting a television contract since the failure last spring of the tender for the rights to broadcast the competition.

The France TV-Eurosport duo, the body’s usual television partner, responded to the consultation for the next four seasons, but by only offering around 15 million euros annually, far from the 21 million euros per year of the contract previous. Unsurprisingly, the FFF executive county declared the tender “unsuccessful”. And since then, the situation has been blocked, even if discussions must resume with France TV and Eurosport to find a solution.
