The proof in pictures
The now safe furball has been named Moon by volunteers. After being locked away against her will, she got all the attention she needed. Fortunately, the young cat’s body showed no injuries. Moon was doing well. She was then put up for adoption.
Nevertheless, Lori Grodin, one of the volunteers, did not intend to stop there. The latter told the rescue to the city’s animal welfare department, which opened an investigation.

Hilton Hickson told our colleagues across the Atlantic that he remembers noticing a stranger in the hall of the building, but had shown no interest in her. The surveillance camera has exactly the presence of this person; the images recorded by the device show the individual in question abandoning the kitten in the donation box.
